Greetings,

I just down loaded the needed packages for XFree86 3.3.6. Everything works okay except when I run KDE. Some of the words on the menu bars turn into vertical lines. Now I couldn't get it to work with the Mach64 server so I used the svga server. My settings are 768X1264/24bpps. Let me know if I need to provide more info (and what that is). Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks,
-S-

im having the same problem actually. however i found that editing /etc/XFConfig and looking under the section 'Device' add this to it: Option "noaccel". that will fix the problem, however xwindows runs extremely slow. im trying to find a fix for this. supposedly the card is supposed to run under the mach64 server with acceleration just fine, but i've yet to get it to work. so im stuck under the sgva server with no acceleration at 1024x768 @ 16bpp...running higher color depth slows it down way to much.
